Fresno

Well we really weren't really expecting much of Fresno, for so long we listened to stories of how bad it was here with nothing to do and nowhere to go for miles and miles. Now maybe it was because we expected so little or we are just easily pleased or happy enough with different things, I don't really know, but it was OK. Not one of the best places we have been to but certainly not one of the worst either. I think it is a place that may have been hit hard financially but that doesn't make it a bad place. In fact when it comes to finding a bargain it isn't a bad thing at all. A couple of blocks from the building there was an outdoor mall with quite a lot of cheap stores and loads and loads of thrift stores to rummage in as well as vintage clothe stores.

It also wasn't as hot as we expected which was a nice bonus. Yes it was still really hot but at least when you went in the shade you felt some difference which really didn't help at all last week.

Of course the arena was a nightmare, really small and hard to work in so I suppose if I were working here I may have a completely different view of the place. Or if we were after some night life we may have been disappointed but again the lack of that didn't worry us.

Now it actually comes to writing about the place and choosing a picture or two to post I seem to be struggling, but that doesn't mean I didn't like it here, just there wasn't much to write home about. Not every place can be a roller coaster ride full of excitement.
